I was planning back in the "old days" to get a GO when they got out on the market but the price was way to high so I never got one. I just continued to play on my ps3 instead.

But now a friend of my is in a really big need of cash and he is gonna sell his PSP 1000 (flashed) and the price is ok, has a lot of games with it etc..

But my question is still is it worth it? I know it plays music, videos, and of course games. and also u can hit the web with it and controll the ps3 with it. But thats another question - can I remotely controll the ps3 from like say from work? (as Go works?) and start downloads etc trough it? That would actually be quite the biggest reason for me to get it from him! hehe.

Also how long do the batteries last? He has one extra that's included. Im guessing I will use it much to play music outside when drinking some beers etc. (but season almost over...)

So, feel free to tell me how it is to be a PSP owner/user.
Should I get it? Kinda cool to have one I guess at work on breaks and long hours some nights, and on the bus, plane ?

but yea, hit me with plus and minus if u feel like it, would help me decide if I will get it or not, because I have no freakin idea atm...

The battery life on PSP's are usually good, the 1000 series imo are the best because they're the easiest to hack.
And tell us the price, and what's included?

Sounds good, about how many hours of constant gaming would u say a battery last for? couple of hours?

The price is around 120€. This is in Sweden and I've seen other psp's on different sites and auctions around the same price, and they usually comes with less games or smaller memory card.

My friends psp has a 16 gb memory card, 5 original games and around 20 games on it. GOW and GTA are couple of the original games. And it has 2 batteries as mentioned earlier in first post. + case.

For that price with all that stuff included you should definitely get it.

thanks for the advice, I think I will go for it. Im now playing around with it in my hands and about to do the deal (or not)..I dont know so much about psp yet so I wonder..

this is a jailbreak/hacked psp, and it has wlan option off. I wonder, is it because of the hack? Can i turn wlan on and go out on internet? Or will it f*k it up? Would like to need to know before buying/trying.

and I see it says "PSP update ver 2.60" under game menu, is this the update the psp has installed or the update the psp want to get (but newer must exist yes? but maybe not for jailbreak version).

Please inform me about all this, I have no idea about any of these things regarding psp. But mainly: Can I put in all info so I can go out on the wlan and hit online/ps store?

I would get one if you travel alot.

5.00m33-4 is probably the best firmware out, though there are updates, it's a great start off.
Though, you need a homebrew app to access the psn store. And you can turn wlan on, mine's on all the time. so don't worry about that
