(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); um when tidying up my bedroom i found my psp 1000. i have'nt touched it for about a year and it wont turn on :S it was on 5.55-d GEN (full) and i seem to of lost my magic memory sticks.

anyone know how i can bring it back to life?
(and yes i am fully aware there is a psp 2 coming out)

Well in a way. I have two psp's and both seem to be boring now. Unless you dont got a ps3 try this. When charging if it wont charge do the following.

(may sound stupid but I got my step brothers to charge after doing this)

1. Take the battery out
2. Push it in making it touch the connectors
3. Pull it out quickly
4. Repeat 6 more times
5. Now put it on the charger and if it seems to be charging let it charge for one night.
6. Enjoy your psp again

charge it... because batteries rare off over time...

I've already tried charging it, it just simply wont turn on. screen remains black.
and yes i have ps1(slim). ps2(slim). psp(Fat). ps3(slim). wii. dsi and getting xbox I just wanted to see if i can bring it back to life for my lil bro

well does the screen remain black then shut back off? try starting it without a memory stick to see if there is a file corrupting it on the memory stick if not then you may have bricked it get a pandora and test it see if it comes on with that if it still doesnt come on maybe a ribbon cable came dislodged take it apart and check if that doesnt fix it then your screen is probably dead test the screen on a different psp if the screen works then well im stumped though im sure one of those ways will get it working

no bricked isnt a bad thing well if its a 3000 or a go it is but a 2000 or a 1000 its perfectly fine the way to know its bricked is when you turn it on the green light comes on but the screen doesnt do anything then about 10 seconds later it shuts back off now to fix this you need a mms and a pandoras battery look for my tut in the forums it shows everything about that and how to make a mms and where to get a pandora and even how to install cfw

yh its a 1000 an defo bricked, its already chipped ect. but i used a m8's pandora batt an magic memroy stick.think i'll just wait for psp2 an get that for my bro
