The Next Gen Portable, or known by others as the PSP 2, is set to be released the "2011 Holiday". This system will include many new features that will put it over any other portable gaming system including; 3G, Wi-Fi, a rear touch pad and a OLED screen with several other features.

There has been no set price at this time, but Analyst suggest the price from $300-$350 topping the price of the PS3 console. The current specs on this include a 16:9 5 inch touch screen, which is OLED, with a touch pad on the back with the same size as the front. With 182mm as the width, 18.6mm as the height and 83.5 as the depth, no one knows the exact weight of the system. This makes it somewhat smaller than the PSP-3000.

Gamers who were disappointed in the PSP only having one joystick will now be praising the new NGP, which has dual twin joysticks, both having Sixaxis motion sensing. Other major features of this device include dual cameras both in the front and the rear and new Bluetooth connectivity.

More features and specs of the device can be found here:
CPU: ARM Cortex-A9 core (4 core)
GPU: SGX543MP4+
Dimensions: Approx. 182.0 x 18.6 x 83.5mm (width x height x depth) (tentative, excludes largest projection)
Screen: Touch screen 5 inches (16:9), 960 x 544, Approx. 16 million colors, OLED, Multi-touch screen (capacitive type)
Rear touch pad: Multi-touch pad (capacitive type)
Cameras: Front camera, Rear camera
Sound: Built-in stereo speakers, Built-in microphone
Sensors: Sixaxis motion-sensing system (three-axis gyroscope, three-axis accelerometer), Three-axis electronic compass
Location: Built-in GPS, Wi-Fi location service support
Keys/Switches: PS button, Power button, Directional buttons (Up/Down/Right/Left), Action buttons (Triangle, Circle, Cross, Square), Shoulder buttons (Right/Left), Right stick, Left stick, START button, SELECT button, Volume buttons
Wireless communications: Mobile network connectivity (3G), IEEE 802.11b/g/n (n = 1x1)(Wi-Fi) (Infrastructure mode/Ad-hoc mode), Bluetooth 2.1+EDR (A2DP/AVRCP/HSP)

True story. Google is cooperating with Sony on it. I hope that Google Chrome comes on it, if they still is together on it.
