Firstly, what firmware are you currently on?

you dont need to buy an additional battery theres a tut on youtube where it makes your original battery into a pandora one by changing the firmware in the battery,, then when your done you can convert it back afterwards that i used about 3 months ago to jailbreak my friends psp (hope i helped)
