I need some questions answering, I havent touched my PSP for years!
Can I install irShell on CFW 3.90 m33-3
If I install irShell onto my psp is there any chance of it bricking?
Btw Im installing it to play ps1 games on ad hoc with my other PSP, so do they have to be same CFW?
Is there a way to upgrade to a better CFW without the chance of it bricking?

Erm, why are you still on 3.90 M33? Update to one of the latest firmwares and use PopstationGUI to convert PS1 ISOs to EBOOT and boot straight from the game folder. I'd recommend 6.20 PRO B CFW for PS1 games.

I suggest you update your CFW to 6.20 PRO-B8! It has everything and more.

if i were you i would look for 6.20 ofw download then get 6.20 pro-B9 then CFW enabler 3.70 and a perm bootloader so u dont have to keep putting the cfw on ur psp every time u turn it off then on.
