With Skype released for the Vita, you should be chatting it up with your friends and what not. If you're familiar with the service, you can add credit, which would allow you to call landline and mobile phones as well as internationally. The credit is going to cost you some dough and everyone loves stuff for free, so you'll want to see what Sony is offering.

Emails are being shot from Sony stating that owners with a US PSN account, a Vita and a Skype account, will be able to redeem a full hour of chat time, for free. It says just that and that you will have to redeem it by July 31, 2012. The credit also seems to only work on calls made from the Vita.
