Probably not anytime soon. I'm sure once they sell enough units and produce a new and improved version of the Vita they'll drop the price on the gen 1s. But it won't be anything significant in my opinion. Plus in the end, it's all up to the retailers and how much the sell it for. Sony just gives them suggested numbers to make a nice profit off of their shipment.

There already was a somewhat price reduction during christmas, but i think they should. Butlike Rath said, not any time soon.

Thanks Rath and HOEKage. I don't feel like spending 250$ + another $60 for a memory card. Such a drag.

I know what you mean. It was bad enough buying the Vita.. then having to go back and buy a damn memory card. Honestly Sony should just sell them with the damn cards.

Just like of the ppl here said, there were price drops on the vita during the holiday season. I got mine on black friday for $179.99 Assassins creed III liberation + 4GB memory card, and a free voucher for PSABR. It was def worth the wait for me and its worth ur money trust me.

In Flames Much?
If Sony wants vita to be a success it needs a serious price drop and drop on the games. Have a feeling it won't happen soon which is a shame.
One of the big gaming events we should see a drop.

Going to be cool if they fit vita support into the PS4.

I agree the price is just way too much but that black friday deal i mentioned to u was the reason i bought it because normally i wouldnt have paid that much for it. $179.99 sounded just right for me.
