I've been trying to find a solution to my problem but couldn't find anyone in my exact situation. Here is the thing:

I've recently been given a US Disc PS3 version of Sly Cooper Thieves in Time. My PS3 was bought in the US BUT my main account on it is from the European PSN (I also have a US PSN account on it). I also own a Vita on which i've put my EU PSN account.

I know that Cross-buy system is different from the downloadable version of a game. It is a matter of linking the Disc Copy to a PSN ID.

The question is: If I open my EU account on PS3, will I be able to link the Cross buy version to the EU account, even though the Disc is US region?

dont think you can cross buy from cross region, lol, just wont work i guess

I'm not 100% sure if this will work.. but you may as well try?

Actually, I did, but it didn't work 'cause the game hasn't been released in Europe yet. I'll let you know if it worked by the end of March, when it's released...

Back to this thread a few months later. No, it didn't work. Shame you can only have one account on the vita.

yeah that sucks i thought Sony will do something about it by now but nothing i guess they enjoy making us spend money twice on the same game
