I think this might be due to all the lag and connection issues over the weekend. I read that they have had a 400% increase in players than any other BF game. When the servers are fixed properly, I don't think this will be a problem.

It could be lag, but I don't think it is. It seems that sometimes it blows up and other times it takes it a minute. I think it depends on how much damage was done to the heli before you hit it with the launcher. If you shot a heli with a real RPG do you think it would blow up?
