Robert Bowling, via his Twitter, has asked fans what gametypes they'd like to see in a brand new non-killstreak playlist. He tweeted: "If we added a playlist to Modern Warfare 2 with killstreaks disabled, what gametypes would you like to see in the rotation?" Although this isn't 100% confirmation, we can be pretty certain that a non-killstreak playlist is on it's way, which I'm sure will be very popular with fans, who have complained killstreaks cause half the major flaws of the game's multiplayer experience. This is great news, atleast Infinity Ward are finally listening to the community, 7 months after the release. Why not a game mode without commando, pain killer, shotguns, launchers,thermal,killstreaks, cold blooded and campers? the game still crap lol

I'm hoping they mean there'll be no deathstreaks as well, painkiller never bothered me but I've died from it so much recently

lol to fix all the flaws in that game, you'd need a gametype where:
the only map was a wide opened long hallway
no perks
everyone carries around teddy bears.

Do you even dropshot? Because if you don't... I want you to shut up right now. You can't say all that and not dorpshot. How the hell are you to get kills?
