A Japanese retailer has listed a new PSP model that's supposedly coming to stores before the year's end.
Geo, a Japanese retailer that is big in consumer electronics, slates the 'PSP-4000' for release this year as well as putting down the rival contender for hand held consoles, Nintendo with their new proposed 3DS, set to hit stores for the back end of the year in Japan.
It's not the first time we've heard of a PSP-4000 – the name was first dropped before the PSP Go was revealed, and last December Sony inadvertently included it on promotional materials for the handheld LittleBigPlanet, this is an eye opener for many gamers, you have enjoyed previous models, however will this new proposed console be a refurbed version of the current, or a complete new hand held console? You decide.
Could it be the PSP 2 that's expected to be unveiled at either Gamescom or the Tokyo Game Show later this year. Sony has the answers to the specualtion but whether they would even comment on this rumour is another kettle of fish.
Perhaps the '4000' suggests it is just more of an upgrade rather than an actual replacement. Bluetooth could be a new addition to it.
What do you think will come of this?
What do you believe it will be like?
What do you hope to be added?
Comments Appreciated
