Recently, a new batch of high quality screenshots of Socom 4 have been released by Zipper Studios. The graphics look incredible. Myself, I've never played a Socom game although I hear good things. However, I am also told that Socom: Confrontation was a total disaster. Hopefully Zipper have learned from this game and if I hear good reviews about Socom 4 I'll be sure to pick it up. From the screenshots, the game looks to feature much urban-based combat.

This is gonna be a great game especially with PlayStation Move

i hope its better than socom confrontation, it just sucked asses

Okay btw zipper made the older socom's S1-S3 +CA and they also made MAG. Slant Six DEVELOPED Confrontation so that was their fault, completely different studios. These guys(zipper) made the original SOCOM's for the PS2 series so this should be a lot better than confrontation, which again was made by a completely different studio.

Just wanted to clear that up, and very nice, cant wait for this game.

Funny how the source doesnt have the ngu logo. I wonder where those came from...

OMG! You have never played SOCOM im ashamed of you it one of not my most favourite game on playstation and any other console. Confrontation was a disaster when released but now a days its ok. It was made by /6 and was the 1st major online game for them. If you want reviews stay away from the SOCOM blog as atm mo the so called vets believe it will suck bcause its not like S2. Well most of them i have played all SOCOMS and believe this one will be great too.

I never played socom is this game a 3rd or 1st person shooter?
