A private beta for Dead Nation was sent by invitation to certain selected PSN users last night. Dead Nation is a sort of half top-down half third person zombie survival game that will be exclusive to PS3. I know you're sceptical about top down zombie games but this seems special. It's been in development since Gamescon 2009 and that's a long time for a top-down game. Created by Housemarque studios, the creators of Super Stardust HD. This game does look promising and while it's nothing to compete with Xbox Exclusives Left 4 Dead and Dead Rising it's certainly a start. The trailer and a couple more beta images are below. Myself, being a zombies fanatic, I'm quite excited about this!

Well Im sure I will get it because I f***ng love zombies by some reason so its a day 1 buy for me, I just hafto. And Im sure it will be better then apocalypse, more fun playing atleast.
