Before I start, I just want to say that a lot of you probably already know this from Halo 3 when SligStorm found it, but for those who didn't know, have forgotten, aren't sure about how it's done, didn't know that it worked in Reach as well, this is a thread for you.

Are you tired of dying every time you go outside of the map? Sick of that countdown barrier? Well, then you are in luck, because you can stop that!

What you need:
- Two people with an online connection.
- XSATA

How to:

1. Go to any countdown / death barrier on a multiplayer map.
2. Make sure that the person with the XSATA attached is the connection host of the game.
3. The person with the XSATA now has to remove his HDD from his Xbox 360 while in-game.
4. Now, wait for the game to freeze.
5. Once it's frozen, the non-hosts are free to explore outside of the barriers and have fun.

A few things that are worth knowing:
- This doesn't work in campaign and firefight, due to them using a different connection type.
- Having the connection host changing teams can be used to freeze the game on command, sometimes.
- None of the people exploring outside the barriers are able to interact with each other due to this being sort of like a really lenghty lag-switch effect.
