PS Move: Sales legitimately bound.
[/COLOR]
In this thread i will be outlining the views of a Sony software engineer on the overall sales of the product as well as addressing the audience that the PS Move is after.
Sony say that the PS Move motion control, has not been made in short supply simply to help drum up interest and to advertise the product says Sony Computer Entertainment software engineer
Anton Mikhailov in an interview. He said in an interview:

So although stiff competition from the very popular
Wii and the new
Kinect by Microsoft, Sony still seem to be maintaining sales as Anton goes on to say:

So are Sony
not able to supply the demand for the device? It appears so, they may be legitimately bound by supply but this could still cause them many problems in sales with the Christmas period upon us a further demand for the PS Move could appear to have
further problems in supply as it fly off the shelf faster than they can deliver them into the stores. Which overall could cause a loss in sales as people may not want to wait for the device causing people to send there money elsewhere.
But these comment's made go against what anther analyst has said Mikhailov's comments go against the suggestion of analyst
Michael Pachter than Sony has shipped more PS Move units than it has been able to sell.

But further still it seems Anton says that people are not keeping a basic Move set up, they are purchasing second controller. I mean why wouldn't you? the Move was designed for some Family fun as well as the 'True gamer' that will buy the secondary controller for the two handed experience as they may use the system for more serious games such as
SOCOM. He goes on to say that Sony did not want to alienate an audience or aim for just one user group as that would cut down says on Move (Well it is Sony move money the better).
