If you like Need for Speed or Burnout, then this game isn't for you. This game is completely different, the others mentioned are arcade style racing, while GT5 is a simulation. It's great if your a racing fan and just love cars, but a lot of players who play NFS or Burnout might have a difficult time adjusting to the game. If you have a racing wheel [G25/G27] then you will love playing this game with it, specially with the clutch enabled and the 6-Speed gearbox. I my self love this game, it can get frustrating at times but I play through it. There's a 1000+ cars in the game, and there's also GoKarts, and that's a lot of fun. The online community is nice, unlike BO where every game you run into 12 year old shit talkers. Online game play is smooth and I haven't experienced any lag yet. This game takes a big chunk of your time because there is so much to do. Visually, this game is impressive. The premium car's look perfect, the cockpit view is on point. The tracks are also fun to race, my favorite part is the weather change, you can drive in the snow/rain, it's amazing. I think you should definitely buy it, you won't regret it.

?? MP is better now you earn xp and a little cash. Yeah the game has faults but so do they all, there is months of playing in this game. Bspec is a little pointless but can be played while watching TV. Online racing will be future for this game I hope they start some online events like gt5p

Yeah I have read a lot of posts by jeff, he sounds a bit of a nonce. The value of cars has nothing to do with racing, online racing is all about testing your skills against like minded folks. If you don't like racing against an x1 or fgt just set your regs and limit hp and weight.
