(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); My GT5 has been freezing lately. I don't have a clue as to specifically why, and I can't afford to replace it. So if worse comes to worse, I am giving up on this game.

Anyway, here's what is happening, and what I have done.

Custom Music has been said to freeze it, so I keep it off, have yet to enable it. I play fine for a few days. Then, out of nowhere, it freezes during the race and the engine's rev sound keeps playing. It is like clockwork on ALL the tracks, not just one. 1:55 into the race, freeze. I tried deleting the patch, several times actually, to no avail. I have tried everything I can think of right down to Installing the Game Data before the patch.

The freezing, as far as I can tell, only happens during racing, never during anything else. I can send and receive cars, I can do just fine until I race, which is a shame, because I'm damn close to level 21, with my B-Spec driver almost at that same level.

Now here's the REALLY weird part. If I delete the patch and don't install the game data, the game [with my current save] plays just fine and dandy off the disc. The thing is, I don't want to play this game while not having the internet connected and getting signed out every time I play it. If you have no suggestions, I give up, sadly. :cry:

I have heard of this...but GT5 has never done this to me.
