Activision's and Electronic Arts' slashed prices

Running from January 11 through to January 17, Xbox Live users can make use of massive 50 per cent discounts on 25 pieces of Activision content, running from DLC to Arcade titles - and including popular map packs from Call of Duty and Guitar Hero. Users have been advised to check the Xbox LIVE Dashboard on January 11 for full details.

Similarly, Electronic Arts are offering up to 50 per cent discounts on more than 25 pieces of content, including DLCs and Arcade games. If you're interested in making use of the cuts, EA have instructed users to check their Dashboard on January 18.

Try Xbox Live Gold for FREE

From January 28 through to January 31, Xbox Live Silver members will be able to try Xbox Live Gold for free! They'll have full access to all GOLD features, including online multiplayer games and the friends system.

Zombie Discounts!

Zombie games took off last year, with popular titles Left for Dead and Dead Rising 2 proving massive successes, so Microsoft are offering three popular Xbox Live Arcade titles for discounted prices this January.
