(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So I just went to copy my save data to a usb, and stupidly managed to copy the data FROM the usb. The save on the usb was from last night so I thought that it wasn't THAT bad of a mistake. So I start up GT5 and I get the following error:

The data loaded was invalid.
The content of this save data will be ignored

Followed by:

Failed to load data.
Please delete this save data.

And then it restarts the save.

So I'm just wondering if I need to get CFW to be able to load my game and if this has happened to anybody else.

Are you currently on fw 3.55 or 3.56? If you've updated to fw 3.56 then you're probably most likely going to get an error because Sony have ceased all use with USB sticks, external HDDs now.
