I heard you like remakes? Well, yes, yet again another game is going to have a DLC with it's predecessor's old maps in it. You can count Battlefield 3 in this category.

Someone on the Battlefield 3 forums revealed a poster showing a fan favorite map included with the limited edition version. "Strike at Karkand", (a map from Battlefield 2) will be the free DLC given with the limited edition copy.

According to the Battlefield wiki, 'Strike at Karkand' was the most popular online map on Battlefield 2, and it seems as though the people on the Battlefield 3 forums have been asking for this map as well.

For those of you that won't be getting the limited edition copy, you'll have to wait one month later to purchase this map.

Thats the shitt, Melo... I could kiss you right now. Damn. I have around 2K hours with BF2. The only map i keept playing and playing over again was Strike at karkand.

Liez!!!! I love BC2's destructible environments. I tend to enjoy the slower pace of the game also. It feels more like a Battlefield "Simulator" though.

To each their own ^.^; Anyone know if Battlefield 3 will have destructible environments or will it stay faithful to the original Battlefield formula?

Battlefield 2 & BFBC2 are totally different games, YEs it is a map on Battlefield 2:rolleyes:
