now my questions is what effect does it have on the car is it better to have higher rpms with a high bhp or lower ??? :S

more hp = more power = faster the car goes but then it depends on how much rpm the engine revs to.

Higher revs, more engine scream.

i wish i could help you... but GT5 is simply a game with sucky tunning and poor modification soo.... sry but in real life i could =P

you obviously haven't played in awhile they added more customization options. you should maybe play more!!
