Post: HOW TO GET GT5 WORKING ONLINE w/ 3.55 JB!

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So many of you that have been playing illegitimate or backed-up copies of GT5, using 3.55 custom firmware, might have been having the problem of not being able to go online.

Well, thankfully, I might have found the solution for this problem! (Nobody else has tested this but me, so hopefully it'll work for the rest of you guys.)

It's as easy as 123, literally. THE SOLUTION IS TO USE CA27.cer INSTEAD OF CA24.cer. The reason some games work online and others don't is simply because they all use different certificates! Yup! So CA24.cer, for instance, might've been for Black Ops and such. CA27.cer I will verify for you all now is what GT5 has been using. (It did work with CA24.cer for a while as you all know, but I have no clue what happened.)

I'm not sure how this works with the Charles/PS3DNS method, but this is how it goes using f*ckPSN. (This is just a brief run down on what to do because I'm assuming most of you know exactly what to do just by reading this through once or twice...)

1.) Replace your modified CA24.cer with the ORIGINAL CA24.cer (Also, delete the CA24.cer.bak)

2.) Download drizzt's You must login or register to view this content.

3.) Rename the ORIGINAL CA27.cer to CA27.cer.bak

4.) Add in the new modified CA27.cer you just downloaded

5.) REBOOT PS3

6.) Run f*ckPSN, run GT5, and you're good to go. (GT5 will stay on that online notice screen for a little while, but it will eventually continue on to the main menu. It will take some time, so have a little patience.)

**I'm running the 3.56 Spoofer by Rebug btw, so you might have to run that as well.

As for proof, for now you guys will just have to confirm this on your own. Hopefully I'll have video proof soon.

I'm crossing my fingers that somebody will be able to confirm this working on their console.

BTW, THIS IS WORKING 100% FOR THE 1.07 UPDATE!
