The newest addition to the Transformer games, [Transformers: Dark of the Moon] is set to be released on May 31st. This new game differs from the ones in the past because High Moon Studios was eager to create a distinctive experience that mixed with their passion for the traditional Michael Bay/Transformers universe. This game is said to be set between the past Transformer movie, Revenge of the Fallen, and the upcoming one, Dark of the Moon. It’s story is set to vary from the movie while at the same time, setting up the events leading to the upcoming film. The game is set to take place in a single campaign, during which, the player will be shifting between Autobots and Decepticons. Also, each level is designed to match the capabilities as well as the personalities of each Transformer.

The significant addition to this game is called Stealthforce. This addition gives the players the chance to transform in to a hybrid state between robot and vehicle. In this state, the player has access to weapons, thus, ridding the need to fully transform out of the vehicle mode to take down the enemies. This transformation between stages is said to be “fluid and as cool looking as ever”(Gaskill).

The rest of the combat seems pretty straightforward, although we were assured that there would be plenty of variety in terms of what types of transformers you'll have access to, which should lend itself to a nice mix of combat styles and approaches. For instance, in our demo we saw Bubblebee, Ironhide (a brawny GMC truck), Soundwave (an ultra-sonic-packing satellite), Starscream (a rocket power fighter jet complete with aerial combat sequence), a gimped Megatron, and Laserbeak (a robotic bird with flapping mechanical wings who pals around with Soundwave). Obviously, variety is something players won't have to worry about.

To match the global scale of Michael Bay’s movies, the game has a wide range of settings. Some of which include tropical areas, to a bombed out Detroit, an underground military base and plenty more.

No multi-player informations been released yet.

I've played the very first one, rented it actually. It wasn't too good, at least for me. However, this one's said to be much different. I'll probably rent this game and see when it's released.

They should really make the movie before making a new series for the game

By that statement, I could tell that you didn't bother to read the thread. If you did, you would have known that this game is different than the previous ones, and isn't based on the movie. Rather, it's events are said to lead up to the upcoming film.

I just watch the movies, I haven't played the game nor any of the series so I wouldn't know much about the game compared to the movies.

That has nothing to do with your comment earlier. You simply made an assumption. Again, if you read the thread, then you would know why this game is set to be released before the movie.
