(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); k sorry guys im new to the minecraft forums so im sorry if this is in the wrong section but im trying to run mod manager for minecraft and its opening up win rar and giving me all the .class files /facepalm then i watched some youtube videos and I noticed that they were opening using java so i tried that and I get a cmd prompt pop up but then dissapears a split second later and nothing happens. I will rep+ twice to anyone who helps :y: i have a good anough rep power so please help

Do you have java files to open with win-rar by default or do you have Teamviewer ? if you do Pm me you login info and ill try to help

Minecraft help would be a better section but meh i dont think its a big deal

k yes i dont understand. I read the Q and A but its not making sence. Like when i had opened the .Jar file there was tonnes of .class files?

Try this: 1. Install the Java runtime environment if you dont have it

2. Double click on the jar file or use the command line java -jar <myjarfile.jar> (will only work for executable jar files. Not all jar files are executable)

So wat i do is run CMD and type in java -jar modloader.jar ???

Yes. If that doesnt work try right-clicking the .jar file and click "open with" and open it with java.
