I've been playing since the 15th and I've never seen this amount of lag. I don't know for a fact if there is a host (peer to peer) or there are dedicated servers. Also if the game doesn't separate regions that could be an issue too. For example if you play from the UK and people are from the US or other distant regions the ping time (lag) will be an issue, which is why I'm a fan of being able to choose your region for minimal lag. Also with the addition of the Playstation + members to the beta server(s) this could add additional stress to the servers, but wait until the beta is open to everyone is about 2 weeks.

Yeah in two games I've seen 2 ppl sliding around. I asked one and he said that like he was in cover behind something then it said he died but he never respawned. He was just a dead body sliding across the ground and knifing/shooting everyone. Then my clan mate who I was on skype with said he saw it again.
