pretty much any race car in the game is banned from gifting(regardless of price) from my experience as of late..i don't think standard cars have gone unscathed either.the total number of premium/standard cars banned from gifting,i'm not sure of but i'm guessing it's a large majority.
frankly,i think this is total BULLS*IT!:n:
i fork out my hard earned to purchase GT5,it's MY right in what i want to do with it's contents(that includes throwin' the friggin disc in the trash).
it's MY right in deciding which and what car/paint etc i want to send/gift to my mates..NOT Polyphonys!
why have this car gifting feature in GT5 then put bloody restrictions in place that renders the feature useless.
what do u guys think?

This is just one restriction and Polyphony don't like you trading rare expensive cars because then they will become common and will make it easy to complete the game. Oh and didn't you already make a thread about this a couple of days ago?

Well if you trade a 1000 ticket or a level 24 ticket once per day from your second account and then back up your game you can keep using the ticket and restoring your save until you get a good car.

It can take a while to get a car you want.. but I've gotten some pretty awesome cars doing this.

Level 24 ticket = F1 car every time and theres only 3 F1s. It don't take long buddy, but 1000 ticket is rage tastic. I'm just trying to get a Bently speed 8 off my 2003 ticket

Well obviously if you have a more specific ticket that encompasses the car you are looking for .. use that one. I was just pointing out that it's still fairly easy to get new cars.

Not as easy as buying the car full price on your second account, sending it to your main, and then getting your money back by restoring a save....

But you can exploit the gift system a lot.

yeah but there's a lot of cars u can't send anymore now as i was saying in my first post..try sending of the the racecars in ur garage and you'll see what i mean..
so in saying that,having dummy accounts to get good cars then finding out that u can't send it to ur main because of restrictions means ur fu*ked.:n:

but, think about it.
you need a challenge once in a while.

what's the point in using the X1 for the earlier events where there are no restrictions?
i reckon if you pass say, the 25th/30th level mark, then you should be able to trade any cars to others around that level, you know?

but they should have made ALL cars premium.

nah man what you do is the birthday trick right, then you can still send as many as you want but 1 of each psn.
so you make a psn with birthyear the year corresponding to car you want. sign in on gt and get your birthday coupon, send to main acc. make another repeat again. i got 10,000,000 trophy = 2days.
Or grind swift as the wind = 70k every 4 minutes of racing the oval track

70K Every 2 mins 50 secs with x1, oh and any tips with birthday tickets, I sent a 2003 ticket over but I can't get a Bently speed 8 from it, Alls I've got is crap cars (S2000 Type V, Prius, Megane) and a few Nismos.
