If you've thought the current fitness related games were a piece of cake, then be ready for a professional MMA style workout, all through your console. THQ is set on releasing a game called UFC Personal Trainer: The Ultimate Fitness System in June.

The designers of the game was the National Academy of Sports Medicine. They did however receive some help from a few MMA trainers: Greg Jackson, Javier Mendez, and Mark DellaGrotte. Those trainers have worked with many professional fighters, including but not limited to Cain Velasquez and Jon Jones. Ironically, both of those fighters are the belt holders in their respected weight class.

The game, when released, will be available for PS3 through Move, Xbox 360 through Kinect and the Wii. Exclusive Xbox features have been named as well. 360 users will receive exclusive content along with the ability to navigate the game through voice command.

Dana White, president of UFC, said, "We are excited to join forces with THQ on the development of UFC Personal Trainer. We want to give fans the opportunity to train like their favorite UFC athletes, and this product will enable people around the world to learn and utilize exercises to get real results."

I've played a couple of these fitness games for the consoles, and let me tell you, it will not replace going to the gym. This UFC version looks a bit more intense, but without weights, a proper workout isn't fulfilled. I do however think that this game will draw the sweat right out of your skin though. It's expected to be released sometime in June this year.

If they had this for the wii I'd get it

First fitness game that has me a little bit tempted!
Not sure how good it will be on ps3 though
