T-90

The T-90 is Russia’s main battle tank and has been since its official introduction in 1995. It is used across the world, from India to Saudi Arabia. The T-90 has been featured in Battlefield 2, Bad Company 1 and 2, and is expected to be the main battle tank of the Russian and/or Middle Eastern forces in Battlefield 3.

LAV 25

UH60 Black Hawk

The UH60 Black Hawk is the main transport helicopter of the US military units, and has been confirmed for Battlefield 3. It can seat 5 soldiers, with a pilot, two gunners and two passengers.

Mil MI24

The Mil MI24 is Russia’s most popular helicopter, and the main helicopter gunship. It has two pilots who can engage a variety of targets, and also seats 4 passengers.

Kamrov KA-60

The Kamrov KA-60 will make its Battlefield debut in Battlefield 3. The chopper is a new Russian design that was introduced in 1998 as a fast reconnaissance helicopter, and for transporting air-assault forces. In addition, the helicopter can be equipped with radio-electronic jammers.

The MiG 29 is the go to aircraft of the Russian Military and has been extensively exported to other nations since its introduction in 1982 — it remains the main competitor to the US F/A 18 Super Hornet. The modern variety of the AK-47, the AEK-971 is the main rifle of the Russian army and was featured in both BF2, Bad Company 1 and 2. It is expected to be the main battle rifle of the opposing side in Battlefield 3 (Russian and/or Middle Eastern).

Russian made bolt action rifle SV 88 — Snaiperskaya Vintovka Model 1998 — is the main marksman rifle for the Russian army. It was featured in Bad Company 1 and 2, and is expected to make its return in Battlefield 3.

Battlefield 3 will feature many of the popular machine guns used in previous Battlefield games.

The M249 light machine gun, also called the SAW (Squad Automatic Weapon), has been the main light machine gun of the US Army since its introduction in 1984. It’s still the main light machine gun in the US army and will return in Battlefield 3.

PKM

The Russian made PKM was introduced in the 1960s and has been widely used around the world, and is still in service in the Russian army, among others. The PKM is widely expected to be the standard LMG of the Russian and/or Middle East forces in Battlefield 3.

Type 88 LMG

The Type 88 LMG, also known as the QJY 88, is a Chinese made general purpose machine gun introduced in 1988 and in use today. The Type 88 LMG has been in several Battlefield games, and is set to reappear in Battlefield 3.

MG36

Beretta 93R

The M1911 is the longest serving weapon in modern history, being in use for over 100 years since its introduction in 1911. It fires powerful .45 APC rounds and is one of the most popular handguns in the US military, despite not being a standard issued sidearm. Assault

Medic
The medic is armed with a Light Machine Gun and has the ability to drop med packs to heal wounded soldiers, and has the ability to revive fallen soldiers as well.
Engineer
The Engineer’s primary role is to engage tanks and armored vehicles with an array of rocket launchers such as the RPG-7 and the AT4. The primary weapon is a carbine rifle.

I don't like the fact that all the weapons are the same as BF2 :/

I'm glad they are using some BF2 maps. Those are good maps they picked. Hope the have some sick new ones too. And glad they are keeping the Apache. That's better than the Havoc in BFBC2. And Can't wait to fly the Jets. Hopefully they are not as hard as BF2.

Why is everyone posting those guns as the guns that will appear? I guarantee the HK416 will not appear in the game. And you have 2 guns that are in the trailer and videos not listed. The M4A1 (or other M4 variant by colt) and the M240.
