Not too long ago, some statements about a PS3 browser upgrade were spread around. Well, as it happens, Sony recently posted a new job listing looking for a Senior Software Engineer under the SNEI branch. Google Chrome comes into play due to the fact that the job listing cites a WebKit. Apparently, WebKit is the engine which Google Chrome runs on. Coincidence? I think otherwise. WebKit powers Google Chrome on the PC, whereas the PSN browser runs on a software by the name of Cairo. Consequently, both Cairo and WebKit are mentioned in the new job listing posted by Sony.

Error… Cat invasion!
Google Chrome is the best browser to date, with speed, quality, and customizable abilities. But this sounds like a freaking awesome feature, if they do plan on installing Google Chrome into the PS3.
