It will be running off my computer and will later be running off of a VPS. I'm asking the NGU community what type of plug-ins will be essential to the server or what plug-ins you guys will like. I already have 3 plugins: Permissions; Essentials; MyHome.

Plugins that you will NEED. Because no matter how friendly your users seem, SOMEBODY will grief. BigBrother will identify who did what, and allow you to rollback what they did. World Edit, well you can do anything with, and you can rebuild damages extremely fast. WorldGuard will allow you to protect areas and disable fire/lava and anything. Those will be ESSENTIAL to running a server with minimal griefing.. also, iConomy will help with using a standardized economy for your server, but is useless if you dont have shops and a way to make money. Lockette is useful for locking chests and doors so only you can use them. Yea those are pretty much the basic essentials for running a successful server. Hope i helped :y:
