Let's be fair, now, 420. I actually appreciate the way Hirai was pragmatic and truthful to us gamers. For anyone, for any console or any device for that matter, to go up there and say that their new system is 100% secure is absolute nonsense. Such a system does not exist. Hackers are people who find ways to penetrate a secure system, and therefore make it insecure. As technology and security systems evolve, so do hackers.
Hirai isn't trying to hide things at this point. He's being honest, and letting us know what we should already know: It could happen again. Although I'm by no means happy that it could happen again, it shouldn't shed bad light on Sony, as though they're incompetent, but it should shed them in good light: They're not playing the "On a need to know basis" game anymore. They're telling us things how they are.
