If you are a gamer then you are well aware of Gearbox Software’s delay of the much anticipated game Duke Nukem Forever. The game has now been delayed for over 10 years. Luckily it has now been finished and the release date has been set. The game will be released on June 14th.
What is even more shocking than the games much delayed release, is the fact that GameStop is honoring all pre orders of it, including those that were placed over 10 years ago. As long as you come into the store with the receipt you received upon pre order you are entitled to a copy Duke Nukem Forever.
This is good news for the die hard fans of Duke Nukem, but for many I suspect that they have either misplaced their receipts or burned it in a fit of rage over the game being delayed for so long.
Game stop has stated:

It is also likely that GameStop will provide ALL customers who pre ordered the game with the special edition, called “Duke’s Big Package”.
So. Have you pre ordered Duke Nukem Forever? If you did then how long ago
did you order it? If you haven't pre ordered then do you plan to buy the game when it is released on June 14th?
