As the gaming world progresses, the move to 3D is starting to be a primary focus for many developers, as it will eventually become the inevitable. This statement shows no exception towards Sony, as only several minutes ago they announced an upcoming affordable 3D glasses and display bundle.

For only $499, gamers will have the ability to jump in and experience gaming on an extreme level. For this price, those who purchase will receive a 24” inch monitor which will include a 6 foot HDMI cable, Active 3D glasses, and lastly, a copy of Resistance 3. With this, players will be able to experience full 3D realism in an expected 720p aspect ratio. Excited? Those wishing to jump on board and purchase this package can expect to see a release this fall. Though no specific date, this comes as a rather large announcement on Sony’s end.

Going into more detail, the monitor is said to have the ability to display dual images to two users playing with 3D glasses. With that being said, players would possess their own unique view on the same monitor. In summary, you would be able to have two different views on the same screen using the contents that comes within the bundle.

Still a fairly expensive price, Sony aims to target those who do not want to spend thousands on an entire new set up.

This deal is great for people who are wanting to start using 3D tv's. Hopefully they buy a bigger 3d tv after a while though.

still the same OG, but I've been low key
I'm waiting until non-glasses 3D comes around until I make the switch.

I respect your opinion. But can you explain why you think of Resistance 3 (or the Franchise) as a shitty game.
