Today marks the release of the first Free-To-Play game on Steam, the largest digital gaming service.
Steam will be launching five officially free to play games over the next five days. These games include:
Spiral Knights
Forsaken World
Champions Online
Global Agenda
Alliance of Valiant Arms
Spiral Knights has been released today and the games will be released in the same order as they featured on the list above, ending with the release of Alliance of Valiant Arms this Sunday.
Now although these games are fully free to play, there will be the support of in game purchases, which will allow you to purchase features and items that will greatly increase the experience. All five titles being released will support in game purchases.
Jason Holtman, director of business development at Valve, stated:

If you download and play each of the newly released games on the day of their release then you will receive exclusive bonus content for each game. So I recommend you get on your Steam account now and check it out for yourself.
