Killzone 3 has blown away the competition not only with the quality of graphics, but also in it's hardcore fast paced game play. There are may players who have tossed their Call of Duty and Battlefield disks to the side and spun the Killzone 3 disk until it is ready to fly apart.

Much to the excitement of those players, Guerrilla is releasing it's next multiplayer DLC. This DLC will contain four maps. Two Warzone mas and Two Guerrilla Warfare maps. Lente Missile Base and Mobile factory are the two maps that have been featured as a teaser to possible DLC investors. There have been two videos released via Playstaton Blog that give a sneak peak of these two maps.

Below are both preview videos. The first of the two videos shows Lente Missile Base:

First up is a preview video of Lente Missile Base, a Warzone map for 24 players set inside an abandoned missile base at the edge of the Kaznan Jungle. One of many outdated defense facilities abandoned after the discovery of nuclear Petrusite, Lente Base is slowly being reclaimed by Helghan’s strange plant life. But when warring ISA and Helghast forces stumble across the remains of the facility, they find that most of its systems are still operational. As both factions vie for control of the base, the facility begins firing its missiles – frying anyone caught in the underground exhaust vents…

The second of the two videos shows Mobile factory:

The second preview video features Mobile Factory, a Guerrilla Warfare map for 16 players set aboard one of the largest vehicles from the single player campaign. Part resource production facility, part moving fortress, the Mobile Factory is a strategic asset that both factions desperately want to seize control of. Combatants need to watch their step, however, as a single mistake can cause them to plummet into the heavy duty scrap metal shredders at the bottom of the facility. Those looking to do some shredding of their own will be able to wield one of two portable miniguns found in the Mobile Factory.

This new DLC will be available through the Playstation store in just a few days on Tuesday, June 21st. And for those of us that hate to dish out $15 dollars for a multiplayer map pack (Yeah I am talking about YOU Call of Duty) the KZ3 DLC will cost a cool, wallet pleasing, $4.99 USD plus tax.

Another great thing that Guerrilla and PSN are bringing to the table with this DLC is the option to purchase the DLC Bundle Pack which will include the Killzone 3 Retro Pack, Steel Rain Pack and the new From the Ashes Pack. And at the price of $9.99 for the whole gaggle, how can you pass it up?

Be sure to stay tuned to the Official PS Blog and the You must login or register to view this content. for upcoming info including sneak previews of the two remaining maps.

I have all the DLC for Killzone 3 atm, but I find it gets boring quickly, maybe this DLC will change that. Thanks for the update! +Rep!
