Free Xbox Live? Well, you can almost say that. Discovered yesterday was the infamous return of the Xbox Live Gold subscription glitch. This glitch, discovered via Microsoft’s website, allows gamers to extend their membership for £1 per month. This exploit has been reported to give users the ability to renew their gold subscription until as long as June 2014.
In retrospect to the mishap on Microsoft’s end, gamers simply possess the ability to log in through the website and use their credit card in order to purchase Gold. Doing the math, extending your membership until June 2014 (The maximum 3 year offering by Microsoft) will only cost gamers around £ 36.
Though many find themselves in shock over the situation, this has not been the first occurrence of it’s kind. With this being stated, Xbox.com, little over a month ago, encountered the same technical error, although allowing only a 6 month extension.
All in all, this is surly said to be halted by Microsoft. Those who have taken advantage of the opportunity possess the benefit of nearly free Gold services. Nothing has been speculated in regards to the action gamers could face if caught exploiting, however, many are willing to take the risk.

I did not get to try the glitch myself, as I do not possess an xbox. However, from what I am hearing, log into Xbox.com . Access the store within the website, and extend your membership. The price just seems to be glitched, no special steps in doing so.
