As many of you may or may not have heard prior, Bethesda Softworks announced a third DLC for it’s Fallout: New Vegas title. Unveiled in the month of May, reports fluttered in claiming the release date be pointing around the June mark. As we now wind down the last week and a half, a release date has been given for the up and coming downloadable content.
The expansion pack has been dubbed ‘Old World Blues’ by the developers. For those interested, the pack will be available via PC, Xbox 360, and Playstation 3 on Tuesday, July 19th. Though this is the third added content pack, there is still another planned for a future date. As many previously thought, it was expected that June would be the release of Old World Blues, and within the month of July, would follow the fourth. Not being the case, the fourth and final add-on will be delayed beyond the month of July.
Old World Blues will grant gamers the ability to choose their own outcome, as you will posses the option to battle crazed scientists, or join them for a more epic faceoff. Old World Blues will give it’s players the benefit of keeping their equipment, something which prior downloadable content did not. Also noted by Bethesda Softworks is the upgrading of the pre-existing New Vegas, by way of an upcoming patch, upon the third DLC release. Developers plan to bring numerous fixes in regards to performance and overall game playability within numerous aspects of the game.
Regardless of what occurs, it seems as if Fallout: New Vegas will entertain those who wish to indulge in it for at least another couple of months. </div>
