MacRumours member MultiMediaWill, the person behind the leaked JailbreakMe.com 3.0 files, emailed comex directly to tell him he'd deleted the beta files "out of shame" but received more than a shock in the response comex sent. In the email, comex told him:

Whether the official launch date was pushed forwards by the leak, or whether it was due, will remain unknown, but it's increasingly possible that it is due to the public release of the beta files.
