Being out of the spotlight for weeks, LA Noire offered gamers an overall satisfying experience throughout it’s story mode. Though praised by many, former developers speculated upon the boredom with the game world itself. Speaking anonymously, two former Team Bondi employees highlighted some major flaws within LA Noire, along with the reasoning placed behind them.

Throughout the creation of the game, developers pinpointed the sheer lack of animators as a critical breaking point within the team. In brief terms, the game was wasted, according to the prior employees.

“We barely had any animators for such a long time, it was crazy. People have mentioned how the open world in L.A. Noire is wasted because the world is so boring. The reason was because no animators wanted to work at Team Bondi.”

Putting things into judgment, it is acclaimed that after the date of January 2008, there was only one animator working on gameplay development. Those who do not work in the industry can even sense the troublesome issues that would arise from this scenario.

“There was no Lead Animator from January 2008 until the end of the game, and for large parts of production we only had one animator working on gameplay animations (any others were doing cinematic animations). This meant that there was no way to add life to the world. It’s a perfect example of why staff retention is important, was ignored by the leads at Team Bondi, and the game suffered for it.”

With such as successful game, one ultimately ponders why many wished to avoid working at the studio. Providing answers, Team Bondi has been accused of supplying their employees with that of poor working conditions and terms. Expecting those developing to work ridiculous hours, along with unjustifiable terms (such as that of no overtime), Team Bondi sent shivers down the spine of many even pondering employment.

Nevertheless, one can argue whether or not LA Noire could have in fact been better. Though the complete story behind closed doors may be unknown, issues undoubtedly brewed, as lack of staff was apparent. </div>

Do a barrel roll!
I'm not going to lie, but this game was basically one of the very best games i'd played. It was boring at the end when i finish the whole story. I was also in no mood to find all 95 cars and 15 gold films. Hopefully LA Noire 2 will be better.

Has been a while
At least TB gave a reason why there was no GTA styled open world. If they decide to make a similar game to L.A. Noire hopefully they can implement it in there.

Man, ex-Team Bondi members have to be the whiniest development team ever. Yes, we get it, they treated you like crap. Move on already.
