With Microsoft marketing it's Xbox 360 console as a master media hub, it is interesting that they had phased out the sale of their official media remote. Luckily for Xbox lovers, Microsoft will be releasing a new Media remote for increased convenience while browsing all your media via Xbox.

The Media remote allows you to browse through the dashboard, control CD, DVD and streaming media. It will also work with many name brand televisions allowing you to adjust volume, channels, and power the TV on and off straight from the Media remote.

Additionally Xbox will be releasing their own Bluetooth Mic. It will use Bluetooth 3.0 technology, feature noise cancellation and three sizes of ear gel to accommodate different users. Microsoft claims that the headset will hold a charge for eight hours of talk time and 300 hours on stand-by.

Both of these products will be available this November at most retailers. The Media Remote will cost $19.99. and the Bluetooth Mic will cost a whopping $59.99. I hope for that price the quality is damn good.

$59.99 for a mic :O but if that's being released and it's bluetooth do you think you could just use any bluetooth mic now?

Probably not knowing Microsoft. They are pretty shatty when it comes to accessories.
