(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); every time i try to load it up it opens as a archive. please help/ Happy

Right click ---> Properties ----> Permissions ----> Set as executable.


And/or install java-jdk and right click open with that. (Software package manager ---> Search java-jdk)

nothing shows now. is there anyway i can load it in terminal? that should work.

Make a folder on the desktop and name it minecraft put craftbukkit in there.


    
cd /home/{user}/Desktop/minecraft
java -Xmx1024M -Xms1024M -jar craftbukkit-0.0.1-SNAPSHOT.jar


Like I said you need java installed. I used to use Ubuntu now I just use centos to manage my servers so it's pretty hard to remember both so sorry if I got it wrong, I believe it is correct though.

Just remember to install java, I think sun java and java-jdk work. Search it in software package manager.

it said "cannot reserve enough memory for object heap."

Edit: fixed it. i can only have 1 other thing running in the background.

Try start it with this next time.



java -Xmx512M -Xms512M -jar craftbukkit-0.0.1-SNAPSHOT.jar

yeah. i've already done that. i have to do that on my xp computer to :p it works fine now :y:
