Apple enthusiasts around the globe are awaiting the announcement of Apple's newest incarnation of its smartphone, the iPhone. These pictures suggest the phone is already in mass production. What a thrill!
Apple doesn't make it's own hardware, instead it calls upon other companies to create the parts, while Apple tackles all the software, and future product development. Take the battery and camera, pictured below.
These batteries look near identical. The shape is virtually the same, the only difference being the motherboard connector. This is actually meant to be the new battery in the iPhone 5. If the picture isn't enough evidence, let the product numbers shine some light: the new battery has the product number 616-0580 whereas the iPhone 4 has product numbers 616-0513 and 616-0521.
The camera also has no major differences, again the motherboard connector is different, but nothing else. This picture also possibly disproves the rumours of the iPhone 5 having dual-flash, although it is still possible that it will. However, there is a chance that Apple will unveil more than one iPhone next month.
The iPhone 5 is to be announced by Apple next month, and should be available to consumers in early October, released alongside iOS 5.
