(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); ok before doing this make sure to copy your minecraft jar to your desktop then go to this link You must login or register to view this content. as you can see its straight from minecraft.net you then go into appdata then .minecraft then bin then drag and drop the minecraft jar you downloaded and replace your old one then you will now have 1.8

Minecraft server download (for making your own server) You must login or register to view this content.

EDIT:1.8 server CraftingLands.wow64.net

It worked! =D Thanks man.

Although I'll have to keep switching between 1.7.3 and 1.8 when I want to play online :( but it wont be too long till 1.8 is out for real Happy
