(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Guys. We all want credit for finding glitches. But is it really all that important? I understand that most of you want to be known as the guy who found that one sick ass glitch that everyone wants to know how to do, but let's think logically here for a second. To be frank, no one cares if you found a glitch. In fact, the only people who care are the developers. They love the fact that you post videos on youtube showing exactly how to perform a glitch. It's far easier for them to find it on their systems and then patch it and ruin it for everyone else.

Do yourself and your fellow glitchers a favour. Stop posting glitch tutorial videos showing exactly how and where to do the glitch! If you find a glitch, don't you want to be able to do it indefinitely? Isn't that more important that making sure everyone knows that xXxXTryHaRdFaNbOyXxXx found this glitch?

There are simple things you can do to ensure that any glitches you may find can stay open and freely accessible to fellow glitchers:

1. Obviously, don't post a step by step video of how and where to do it.
2. Keep the glitches to yourself, or in your clan! (You should only have people you trust 100% in your clan)
3. If you want to share the glitch with outsiders, get to know them first. Make sure they aren't rats.
4. NEVER show some kid in game how to do a glitch.
5. Never perform the glitch when people are watching you.
6. If you want to post a video of the glitch, only post a video of you in the glitch. Hide map location and don't even hint as to where to perform it.

These steps are necessary if you want your glitch to have a long lasting life in your game play. Doesn't it piss you off when you sign onto psn or xbox live, see that there's an update and when you get into your game realize that your favorite glitch is patched? The reason it's patched is because game developers watched the tutorial you posted and patched it!

So help out your fellow glitchers everyone. We are all in this together to find the exploits that make our gaming experience fun to us. Let's not ruin it by worrying about credit or if it was the first glitch found.

Happy hunting!

I agree 100% with this. Its like if you find the glitch it doesn't matter if everyone knows you found it cause its gonna get patched then everyone will just forget about you so your only getting your 15 minutes of fame on the internet.

Yeahh, that's great. But this section is for Battlefield glitches, NOT your opinion on how glitches should be handled when found. Not to mention your post is SOO long. Find a glitch, and then you can post in this section.

I might be stepping into a minefield by saying this, but I'm glad retards post step by step videos on how to do certain glitches. This way, the devs can get it patched and we can all go back to a fair playing field. I personally prefer honest gaming without hacks or glitches. Kind of hypocritical because I've done them my self in the past, but they are only fun for so long. I like playing this game with strategy and I've only played it for a couple hours but I'm already sucked deeply into it. The last thing I want is for someone to have an unfair advantage over me because of errors on the dev's side.

You must read a letter per minute or something because this post wasn't long at all. If I don't have to scroll down at all and can see the entire thread all at once on my screen, then it's far from "SOO long."

I was finding glitches and sharing them with the community before your parents even bought you a console. This has been an ongoing issue since the exo days. You should probably know who you're talking to before you try to smart off to them in the future.

420 I'm on your side with this as well, but people are going to glitch. Not everyone has gamed as long as you and I have and they may still like to glitch hunt. This rant was for those people. I prefer, when it comes to battlefield at least, to play legit now as well.

You clearly misunderstood the whole concept of this post. At no point did I incline that I needed glitches "to help me". The only thing my age has to do with this would be experience. And in my experience, everyone has made the same mistake by posting tutorials. You seem to think that this is an attack, which it clearly wasn't. I suppose there's no point in trying to convey the message to you because you don't seem to have the mental capacity to comprehend it.

Bit mean...

Anyway, glitches are good kept secret as it is only a few people knowing about them, and I agree with 420 when he says that he likes a fair playing field, but if people want to post glitches for everyone to see, then they should be able to do it, and take credit for it if they want to. Your not going to get people to stop posting glitches in a glitches section.
