i assume you mean for example like [CLAN]PSN/XBL ID
you do that through battlelog.battlefield.com you register up or login with your EA account and go to profile thats were you add your clan tag.
hopefully thats what your were asking.

Nah, he was asking how you make one longer than the standard 4 letters. He's seen people with longer clan tags.

Maybe a browser tool like firebug or something that will allow you to ignore the max character limit on the web page. That would be my guess.

Firebug - doesn't work.

Never seen it.

But I think if you are in someone's party, there name will show up like a clan tag before your name sometimes. I've seen it once when playing with some friends.

I saw one as long as that too but I'm still trying to figure out how. You can't copy the patch to a USB so I'm guessing it's not that but then again I could be wrong. I'm pretty sure it has something do with battlelog though. :confused:
