Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 was released on the 8th November, it has been out for 11 days and Elite has been unavailable for a large percentage of people. The people that it was available for had limited access, this is because, either the site went down (this happened frequently), or the confirmation email was never sent, therefore members could only access accounts 5 times before they closed.
Activision has announced that it is targeting December 1st to have Call of Duty: Elite "firing on all pistons".

They have also announced that Call of Duty Elite's premium 'Founder' subscribers will get an extra 30 days of membership free as Activision seeks to compensate for the service's failure to cope with the demand. They are hoping to get everything fixed by the 30 day mark of the game being out, if not, we are unsure what will happen, but we can only wait the 10 days that they say we have to wait.
Personal view
It is a disappointing start to one of the most anticipated games of the year, but at least they have given us a date. If everything is not fully functional past the 30 day mark, Activision will have a lot of s*** on their hands and they will need to sort it out. The mobile app for elite has already been delayed, lets hope nothing else will be to.

Yeah I know right :\ my email confirmation won't come through, that's what's stopping me! I really want it to be fixed as well because on the MW3 player card option, it tells you what challenges are nearly complete, if you select sort by percentage, and they don't have that on the game, and I find it very helpful
