as i have 5 service stars in jets I thought I would be suitable to compare and contrast these jets.

This plane handles differntly then any other plane, the turn radius is wider then the other fighters and you cant really slow down to made a tight trun because your plane turns to vtol. At first it was funky trying to shoot other jets, i found if you slow down just for a second the go back to cruising speed, you could follow other jets easier.

Q: Do own own bf2?
A: Yes, I can answer questions and compare and contrast planes

Q: How do you hover
A: hit L2 do slow your plane down, when it is at a slow enough speed ( or if you are taking off ) you will see your plane "transform" and you will hover. Just make sure you are not turning when you try to transform, if you try to transform when you are in a turn, your jet will NOT transform and you will just fall out of the sky.

Q: How do you free look in the cockpit?
A: down on the D-pad

Q: Can you hover over enemys and provide CAS?
A: Yes, this plane is great for hovering and spamming guided missle, rockets, ect. at enemys, just dont treat it like a chopper, your an easy target, stay away from the enemys

also you cant see the flares when you deploy them

how much sense does that make? how would that work?

Pretty cool that i unlocked flares, stealth and heat seeker missiles today =D finally i cant start winning some jet fights :p

No, they are deployed and are visble, but the angle that they are deployed at makes it so you cant see they come out of your jet, but for example a person on the ground could see the flares.

use your MG, dont waste your weapon slot on heatseekers, plus, heatseekers only work well if you are chasing someone lineraly, if they are pulling a 7G turn, ( more like 15Gs, that not even possible in real life, realistic game, huh. ) you wont even be able to get a lock

you get the MG with all the weapons anyway :p and yea i use the MG if i cant get a lock on plus to take out tanks, the heek seekers are easy kills for noobs who dont run flares and fly towards the sky when infact they should be flying towards the outer map and going behind mountains/cover.

There`s still a lot of new players joining bf3 and heet seekers work well for me
