Razer, a company best known for its gaming peripherals, has unveiled that it is working on a new Windows 8 gaming tablet that will allow users to fully play PC titles. According to CNET's report, the tablet will run in Windows 8, and will use an Intel Ivy Bridge Core i7 processor and a solid-state drive (SSD).

It will also support a 10.1-inch touchscreen, 1024x768-pixel resolution, two analog joysticks attached to its sides, a battery life akin to that of a laptop, and an inbuilt accelerometer. Razer showed off the device at CES, allowing punters to try out PC titles on the tablet, such as Tom Clancy's HAWX 2 and Company of Heroes. CNET reports that Razer's goal with Project Fiona is to "offer sufficient horsepower for true PC gaming, as well as tablet-like portability and ease of use".

Holy crap, an i7 processor and ssd hard drive? If this goes for 500 dollars, it will become the ipad killer.

If it only has an SSD then there it won't be able to store many games on it.

The controllers look like the PS Move one. If we can play every game we use in PC then this worth a try.

Judging by its specs and looks, it might dig a deeper hole in your probably already dug out pocket.

You realise a 128Gb SSD costs 200euro?
If its going to be more than that and I highly doubt it will be then there will be a huge price tag on this, especially considering its going to be using an i7 Ivy Bridge Processor too.
