I kinda want a part of that but not sure if it would be a waste of money or not

If you think that multiple options in a game can be boring, DONT BUY IT.
This is game with a good story and a LOT OF secondary missions (that are just very good)
Im sure if you buy it, you are going to play a lot.

What do you look for most when looking into a game?
As in, FPS? TPS (third person shooter), adventure, creepy, swords, guns, etc.

Like TheBigRod mentioned, it really depends what kind of games you're into. Skyrim is an open-world type of game, where you can pretty much do whatever you want. There's a main quest, but you're only tied to that for the very beginning of the game. After that, you're free to pursue side quests, guild quests, lore quests, etc.

There is so much you can do with the game. You can do virtually anything you want, but you have to be able to appreciate the little things, and must have an urge to explore. You'll be doing a lot of walking through fields, and sometimes it'll seem like nothing is around but a few wolves and rocks. But there are an abundance of caves, houses, etc, to explore.

Personally I love Skyrim. But if you're not an RPG kind of guy, tread carefully.

In all seriousness, if you aren't a guy who likes the idea of spells and swords, don't touch it. But if you like it, like I do, pick it up. I got it two months ago, and I still play it every singe day when I have time. It's worth the money.

I bought the game and I love it. I usually play shooters and sports and I normally hate magical/nonrealistic games so that says alot. It's a great games with tons of game play time.

This isn't necessarily true. While many people who didn't enjoy Oblivion found enjoyment in Skyrim, there are plenty of hardcore Oblivion fans (i.e. me) who love Skyrim, too. Simply because you didn't like the fourth main installment to the series does not mean you'll instantly fall in love with the fifth. I just don't want the OP to walk into the game just because he didn't like the previous one.

What this really comes down to is genre choice; what kind of games you're into, how much time you have, etc.
