Almost just as soon as the app was launched earlier this month, EA has pulled it from the App Store
following bad reviews from customers.
The app, which was inspired by the film Act of Valor, only received an average of 2.5 stars in ratings.
Several complaints were made about the games controls and inability to connect to multiplayer matches.
Soon after pulling the game from the App Store, EA released this statement,

To this end, we have decided to remove Battlefield 3: Aftershock from the App Store and are currently re-evaluating the app in response to the consumer feedback we've received. I never got a chance to play the game due to me not owning any iOS devices, but if anyone downloaded it
